If there is one thing I have learned whilst doing my workshops here at the Studio, crafting isn't just about learning a new skill, it is about connecting with people and making time to be social. And what better time to do this than to have a dedicated date in the crafting diary where folks can come and experience crafting and being creative in a mini workshop environment?
The Open Craft Nights are held off site from the Make and Do Studio every third Thursday of the month at Coffee au Clay in Stockton Heath from 7:30 - 9:00 PM. Each session is an hour long mini workshop where a person can try something different - each month the craft changes and a new tutor will show you their magic. And as with all Make and Do workshops, the cost of £12.00 per session includes everything - including a sewing machine if you need one! It is also a chance to just mingle with our crafty folks - you don't have to sign up for a workshop to come on the night as there is enough room to just come in and relax. So please join us!
And if you knit, you can bring your needles and hang out on the sofa with Beryl Woodcroft at our newly anointed Stitch and Bitch session - for free!
Each session has a limited number of available places - this depends on the craft being offered. We will update the list at the beginning of each month with a new workshop - so keep an eye out here, on our Facebook page or on Twitter!
