My new year's resolution this year was to stop putting up with my jeans being a little too long and to really get to grips with replacing my ailing zippers. So I am happy, happy, happy to have local seamstress Pauline Wright come on board for this workshop to show me all I need to know to make sure my clothes are fitting the best they can....I didn't have to pay a fortune to get them that way!
In this workshop, you will learn how to:
-insert zippers
-take up trousers
-take in/letting out trousers
-take up skirts
-tailoring techniques to get a better fit for shirts
-an “open surgery” where each student can bring in an item that they would like to alter.
